National Pencak Silat Championship 2019

We welcome the month of August with our yearly event, the National Pencak Silat Championship. This year the 43rd National Pencak Silat Championship was held in conjuction with Pesta Sukan Kebangsaan and GetActive Singapore. A total of 18 teams and 444 participants took part in the event held at Heartbeat@Bedok.

The three day event was held from 2nd August to 4th August and is one of the biggest national event Singapore Silat Federation organised. We also had the honour of having referees from Indonesia and team Nila to lend us a helping hand.

The loud cheers from the crowd and the teams created a lively atmosphere that could only be felt during such championships. Through the support of the crowd and the teams, the athletes fought hard and displayed great sportsmanship. Congratulations to all!
