Silat-Raya Bake Sale!

Into the fourth year of having bake sale in conjunction with the Hari Raya festivity, the objective of the fundraising initiative is to generate funds dedicated to supporting our youth development program, specifically for their local and overseas training and competitions.
Through the bake sale, we are rallying the community support, especially the national athlete’s parents and family, and engagement around delicious baked goods by local supplier (Malay-Muslim Owned).
And by getting the national athletes (spexScholars or other elite athletes) involved with the delivery of the goods is giving them an opportunity to give back to the society and getting the chance to mingle with the community who have been providing support to them.
Through the bake sale also, we aim to extend beyond just raising funds, but to cultivate empathy within our community. Another objective is where the bake sale becomes not only a fundraiser but also platform for building empathy and solidarity within the community, inspiring us all to contribute to positive change. And via this platform will allow buyers/supporters to buy baked goods and donate to those underprivileged families through the baked goods bundle.
